MEDITERRANEAN PEACE FORUM

PRESENTATION AND OBJECTIVES

The Mediterranean Peace Forum is a space of gathering and reflexion oriented towards a unified Mediterranean region in its diversity for peace and coexistence. Its first objective consists in developing a culture of living together. In order to reach this objective, the Forum privileges three major topics:

  • Co-development among Mediterranean countries: Promotion of culture of peace and establishment of partnership process and an increasing economic integration.
  • Interfaith dialogue between Christianity and Islam: Calling for respect of cultural diversity and strengthening mutual understanding and good neighbourhood among the peoples of the Mediterranean.
  • Israeli-Palestinian dialogue: Working to build confidence among the two peoples.

The Mediterranean Peace Forum is both a public and a private organisation looking for gathering academic and religious figures, men and women of culture, politicians, businessmen, artists and media representatives.
